Here’s the truth: bridal sizing does not follow typical street sizes. You might wear a size 6 in everyday clothes but find yourself trying on a size 10 or 12 in bridal. It’s not you - it’s the system. Sizing runs small across most designers, so don’t let the number on the tag mess with your head. What matters is how you feel in the dress, not the number stitched into it.
You Might Cry, or You Might Not
TV shows love a good “yes moment” with tears and dramatic music. And while that totally happens, it’s just as normal to find your dress and not cry at all. Some brides feel chills, some feel giddy, and others just quietly know: “This is the one.” Every reaction is valid. Go with your gut, not the dramatics.
